Railbox Android1.106.7

Map on a shift is back without a watermark

  • The map showing your route on a shift displays normally again, without the watermark that briefly covered it.
Railbox Android1.106.6

New screen: which rolling stock you've driven

  • New Rolling-stock history screen: you can now see which stock you've driven, broken down by month and by type. Open it from the menu.
  • For each type you see the total number of trips, kilometres and days, plus its share as a percentage. Tap a type to see the individual stock numbers and their share.
  • A bar chart shows the split across stock types per month, with a choice between trips, kilometres or days.

Build a ride's route by hand

  • You can now set a ride's route yourself. Open a ride's menu (the three dots) and choose Edit route.
  • You build the route station by station: the app only shows stations the train can actually reach, while the distance and the map keep pace. If the automatic distance is off, this is how you correct it.
Railbox Android1.103.7

A clearer rides overview and more reliable delay data

  • In a shift, you now see the time between two consecutive rides.
  • The rides overview now shows full station names instead of abbreviations.
  • Delay data for each ride loads more reliably and is always up to date, even on shifts with many rides.
  • You now open a ride's actions from a menu button next to the ride.

Share your dienstkaartje via a direct link only

  • You can now set your dienstkaartje to 'Link only': reachable by anyone you share the link with, but hidden from the public overviews and search.
  • You now choose your visibility in one clear setting: Private, Link only, or Public.

Leaderboards: auto-approve members and choose which kilometres count

  • As the owner of a public leaderboard, you can now have new join requests approved automatically. Turn it on when editing your leaderboard, and new members join right away without you accepting them by hand.
  • You now decide which kilometres count towards your leaderboard: all trips, only effective, or only non-effective kilometres. At the top of the leaderboard a label shows which kilometres count.

Shifts now warn you about possible duplicate entries

  • Shifts that overlap in time with another shift on the same date now show a warning, so you spot duplicate shifts quickly. In the shift overview they get a marker with the number of overlapping shifts.
  • On the shift page you can see how many shifts overlap, with direct links to them.
  • Both on an overlapping shift and when adding a new shift, the app points you to the button for uploading a new shift card, which updates an existing shift instead of creating a duplicate.

Now available for tablet

  • Railbox is now ready for your tablet. The app uses the full screen, so your overview, statistics and shifts make use of the larger display.
Railbox Android1.99.0

Choose when the app locks, and sign out more safely

  • You now choose how soon the app locks again after you close it: immediately, after 1, 5 or 15 minutes, or only on restart. Set it under Settings → App lock.
  • Signing out now asks for confirmation first, so a single tap can't sign you out by accident.
  • When you move to another page, you now start at the top instead of halfway down.
Railbox Android1.97.1

New statistics screen

  • There is a new statistics screen: your worked time, shifts and patterns in one overview, for the period you choose: this week, this month, the last 8 weeks or a custom date range.
  • You see your total hours, average shift length, work days, overtime and your longest and shortest shift, with a comparison against the previous period.
  • A timeline shows your hours per day, and an overview splits your time across the different work types.
  • Under trips and patterns you see which lines and routes you rode most and on which days and hours you work.
Railbox Android1.92.0

App lock, and faster access to your settings

  • You can now lock the app with your fingerprint or face. Turn it on under Settings → App lock. After that the app asks you to unlock every time you open it, with your phone's PIN or pattern as a fallback.
  • From your profile (tap your name at the bottom) you now open the app settings in one tap, and the link to your account has its own, clearer icon.

New contact form & updated privacy statement

  • You can now reach us directly via a contact form at the bottom of the homepage — no account needed.
  • Our privacy statement now explains how we process the contact-form data and how long we keep it.

Up-to-date ride data and clearer duties

  • Ride data now stays current. For ongoing and upcoming rides you always see the latest information — such as delays and platform changes — instead of sometimes outdated data. Rides from earlier days still load quickly as before.
  • New "Duty without rides" status. Does your duty have no rides to show, for example a reserve or shunting duty? You now see a clear message instead of the impression that there's no duty.
